Serum/plasma (min. 200µl)

Storage conditions

Immediately send the sample to theITM, if possible.

Serum/plasma can be stored at 2-8°C for 4 days at most. For longer periods samples can be stored at -18°C. Samples need to be sent frozen (on dry ice) in that case.

Important advice

Preferably also send a serum sample of the mother, so RPR/TPPA of mother and child can be compared.
